Candid is reimagining orthodontics by combining clinical expertise with telehealth technology to make clear aligner treatment more accessible and affordable. As an Associate Account Executive, you'll be a field-based sales professional responsible for building relationships with dental practices in Northern New Jersey and Westchester County. You'll develop your own pipeline through prospecting, identifying high-potential dental practices, and converting them into signed accounts. Your responsibilities include conducting sales presentations, product demonstrations, and practice visits alongside experienced Account Executives. You'll serve as a product expert, educating clients on Candid's clear aligner solutions and confidently answering clinical and business questions. Once practices sign on, you'll support successful launches through onboarding, training, and product education. You'll conduct in-practice training for dental teams, monitor account activity to identify adoption opportunities, and help coordinate local events to drive practice engagement and growth. You'll maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in Salesforce and partner with internal teams to address challenges and create strong customer experiences. This role requires daily field travel within your territory and 4-6 overnight trips annually. You'll work closely with experienced Account Executives to develop your sales skills and prepare for increased territory ownership. You'll also participate in ongoing sales training and clinical education to build deep knowledge of Candid's products, the clear aligner industry, competitive landscape, and dental market trends. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of professional sales experience, preferably in dental, orthodontic, or medical device sectors. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Salesforce experience is a plus.
