Moody's is seeking an experienced Associate Director / Relationship Manager to lead government and public sector sales across the UK and Ireland. This is a strategic role focused on driving revenue growth, managing high-value government accounts, and expanding adoption of Moody's data, analytics, and risk solutions within the public sector.
You will develop and execute account growth strategies for existing government clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across government organizations, prospecting and qualifying sales opportunities through the full lifecycle, and conducting consultative sales discussions to understand customer priorities and procurement requirements.
You will present and position data, analytics, software, and AI-powered workflow solutions that address customer needs and deliver measurable business value. Collaboration is essential—you'll work closely with solution specialists, product teams, subject matter experts, and customer success partners to deliver coordinated engagement strategies. You'll also support government sector growth initiatives by providing market intelligence and customer feedback, represent the organization at industry events and conferences, and maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
The role requires 7+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex, consultative environments. Experience selling software, data, analytics, or SaaS solutions to government and public sector organizations is highly desirable. You should demonstrate strong business acumen, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage senior executives and government leaders. Proficiency in AI concepts and hands-on experience with AI workflows is required.
This position offers a dynamic, hybrid work environment with regular travel to engage with clients face-to-face. A bachelor's degree is required; advanced education and relevant industry certifications are preferred.
