LightForce is transforming orthodontics through a fully digital, 3D-printed platform that delivers customized, patient-specific brackets paired with AI-driven treatment planning. As Area Sales Manager for the Greater Dallas/North Texas region, you will lead direct sales efforts to orthodontic practice owners, driving adoption of LightForce's digital solutions across your territory.
Your core mission is to apply deep knowledge of the LightForce system and promote it to accounts to facilitate trial and full integration. You'll use a consultative sales approach to demonstrate how LightForce transforms analog workflows into innovative digital processes, making treatment planning, application, and outcomes easier, faster, and more accessible while helping practitioners grow their business.
Key responsibilities include: achieving quarterly and annual sales targets; planning and executing a territory strategy based on customer potential; managing a defined geography of accounts; utilizing analytics to drive customer decision-making; fostering relationships with practice teams (doctors, treatment coordinators, office managers, assistants); delivering clinical training and presentations both virtually and in-person; collaborating with internal Integration Specialists on customer onboarding; demonstrating strategic thinking and customer-centric leadership; staying engaged with orthodontic industry organizations; orchestrating internal resources to optimize customer experience; and independently managing travel and expenses.
You'll need a Bachelor's degree and minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally with medical device, capital equipment, dental, or orthodontic background. Required qualifications include comfort with clinical conversations with orthodontists, ability to facilitate business discussions (cash flow, ROI, P&L analysis), proven track record of achieving sales goals, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel across North Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Nebraska. Orthodontic sales experience is preferred.
