Nourish is scaling its national field sales organization and seeks an Area Sales Director to lead five regions across the Northeast. This is a manager-of-managers role responsible for building and scaling a high-performing field organization focused on healthcare provider partnerships. You will hire, coach, and develop five Provider Partnerships Regional Managers (PPRMs), each overseeing approximately eight Provider Partnerships Managers (PPMs). Your core responsibilities include establishing disciplined management practices through 1:1s and talent reviews, ensuring consistent regional execution against shared performance standards, and translating national strategy into repeatable regional action plans with clear KPIs. The role requires regular field time—approximately 1–2 days per month of travel—to observe coaching, pressure-test performance, and deliver targeted feedback. You'll also directly support and help lead enterprise health system partnerships, collaborating across regions and internal teams (Enablement, Ops, Growth Strategy, Product, Clinical, Marketing) to drive adoption, expansion, and long-term success. This includes engaging directly with health system leadership to guide strategy and unblock challenges. Success means building PPRMs who operate against clear standards and run their regions through systems rather than intuition. You'll establish strong adoption of input metrics and territory discipline, execute new playbooks and strategic rollouts with fidelity, develop a deep bench of future leaders, and create tight feedback loops between field and headquarters that increase speed and execution quality. This is a high-leverage, outcomes-driven leadership role ideal for someone with a track record of developing strong leaders in fast-scaling, field-based sales environments. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, skilled at creating structure, and able to communicate clearly across functions to turn strategy into simple, repeatable execution.
