Salary: USD 65,000 - 73,000 / annual
ShipBob is seeking an Area Manager for Fulfillment Operations to oversee inventory control processes and lead a team of ICQA (Inventory Control Quality Assurance) Associates at their Innovation Center in Moreno Valley, California.
In this role, you will report directly to the Manager of SFN Quality and manage all ICQA Associates. You will be responsible for driving process improvement, maintaining a safe work environment, and tracking performance and employee engagement metrics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running daily standup meetings at shift start, using data to assign tasks to ICQA associates
- Tracking associate task progress and providing training on best practices and task importance
- Producing weekly reports on incorrect practices and inventory issues, coordinating with the Network ICQA Manager to report findings to the General Manager
- Providing feedback to the SCO team on new processes or tools needed to improve inventory control
- Ensuring quick and accurate responses to Jira tickets from the Merchant Care team, coaching the team on process alignment
- Overseeing site-level hazard and risk analysis activities and serving as the key contact for product integrity investigations and documentation
- Maintaining product traceability, inventory accuracy, and conformance to product safety standards
- Meeting KPIs: completing all daily and weekly tasks, minimizing credits for lost inventory, achieving 98% of Jira tickets solved per SLA, and completing missing inventory research within 24 hours
The role requires flexibility to work any shift, including nights and weekends, based on business demand.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of people management and operational leadership experience within a high-volume 3PL fulfillment environment
- Preferred experience in ecommerce, retail, and manufacturing industries
