Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Architect to serve as a pre-sales technical advisor for enterprise customers adopting Claude AI. In this role, you will combine deep technical expertise with customer-facing skills to architect innovative LLM solutions addressing complex business challenges.
You will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to guide customers from initial technical discovery through successful deployment. Your responsibilities include:
• Partnering with account executives to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with business objectives
• Serving as the primary technical advisor throughout the Claude adoption journey, coordinating internally across teams to drive customer success
• Supporting customers building with both the Claude API and Claude for Work
• Creating and delivering compelling technical content tailored to different audiences—from deep technical dives for engineering teams to business-value conversations with executives
• Guiding technical architecture decisions and helping customers integrate Claude into their existing technology stack
• Helping customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude's performance for their specific use cases
• Identifying common integration patterns and contributing insights back to Product and Engineering teams
• Traveling occasionally to customer sites for workshops and relationship building
• Maintaining strong knowledge of the latest LLM capabilities and implementation patterns
You bring 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager. You are a native or C1 Italian speaker with fluent English proficiency. You have experience working with enterprise customers through complex buying cycles involving multiple stakeholders, and you excel at building relationships and communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences including C-suite executives, engineering teams, and IT leaders.
You have strong technical communication skills, experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems, comfort with Python, and familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools or a background in machine learning or data science. You are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed, and you think creatively about how to use technology in ways that are safe and beneficial.
