The Information Security team's mission is to earn deep trust with the rapidly growing customer base by safeguarding Sonar products and cloud platforms while demonstrating compliance with industry-leading security standards.
As an Application Security Engineer, you will champion security by design principles across the organization. You'll partner closely with product, platform, and infrastructure engineering teams to ensure that Sonar's products and cloud platforms are imagined, built, and operated to the company's high security standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle
- Conducting security reviews and threat modeling for applications and platforms
- Identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities
- Establishing and maintaining security best practices and standards
- Working with cross-functional teams to balance security requirements with product velocity
- Contributing to security architecture and design decisions
The role is based in Geneva, Switzerland, where SonarSource operates one of its global engineering hubs alongside offices in Austin, Bochum, Dubai, London, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington D.C.
