Apple's Ad Platforms team is building a Growth Accounts Sales division focused on helping small and medium businesses succeed with advertising across the App Store, Apple News, Stocks, and Apple TV. This Client Strategist role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead this emerging team segment, working with performance-type advertisers and agencies to drive discovery and growth.
You will manage a portfolio of growth accounts, developing initial campaign success that builds credibility and trust for longer-term partnerships. Your responsibilities include building and maintaining robust business pipelines through email, phone, and in-person outreach; moving deals through planned, pitched, agreed, and implemented phases; and leveraging internal and external data to facilitate business growth for clients.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of performance media sales experience, with at least 3 years working with self-serve platforms. You must be fluent in both English and Japanese to liaise effectively with Japanese-speaking clients. You should demonstrate a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, deep understanding of performance advertisers' market strategies, and exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Key competencies include strong analytical abilities, natural collaboration and team orientation, active listening, and the ability to manage multiple relationships within the performance marketing space. You should be highly resourceful, client-focused, self-motivated, and driven by a desire to help SMBs succeed.
