ElevenLabs is seeking an exceptional regional communications lead to build and protect the company's reputation across APAC as it expands. The role involves defining and owning the APAC communications strategy, designing and running creative, high-engagement campaigns across media, social, and events, and shaping the regional narrative by developing positioning, turning global news into local stories, and creating original local moments. Key responsibilities include spotting reputational risks early and mitigating them, building relationships with journalists, influencers, customers, industry bodies, and event organizers, and supporting executives with media interviews and speaking opportunities. The role requires partnering across sales, marketing, policy, legal, and deployment teams—especially with general managers and marketing leads spearheading global expansion. You'll define the operating model for communications in APAC and manage agencies as required in specific markets. The ideal candidate has experience managing communications across multiple APAC markets, strong relationships with journalists at top-tier publications, and a demonstrable track record of pitching stories and handling difficult corporate issues. You should have a firm grasp of the political, regulatory, economic, and cultural landscape in the region, a knack for unusually creative communications campaigns including non-traditional tactics and channels, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with nascent operating models is essential. ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company that launched in January 2023 with the first human-like AI voice model. Today it serves millions of users and thousands of businesses, from fast-growing startups to large enterprises like Deutsche Telekom and Meta. The company has raised $781M in funding with a valuation of $11B, backed by prominent investors including Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ Growth, and Sequoia. The company operates with a high-velocity, impact-focused culture that prioritizes talent over location and uses AI to move faster across all functions.
