Join Opiniion's Internal Systems team as an Analytics Platform Developer, reporting to the Analytics Platform Manager who built the data platform. You'll own data modeling work—not dashboards—maintaining the core data models that power company decisions around revenue, retention, resident satisfaction, and portfolio performance. Your models feed downstream reporting used by Finance, Sales, and Customer Success to inform leadership.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining data models in dbt on Databricks within a version-controlled repository with code review on every change. You'll write tests and documentation alongside your models, learn the layered warehouse structure, and understand where different pieces of logic belong. You'll also conduct investigation and root cause analysis, tracing numbers back to their source when reports disagree and documenting findings so others don't repeat the work.
You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, and Customer Success to understand their data needs, translate business questions into model requirements, and own the quality and accuracy of the data they rely on. The role emphasizes curiosity—asking why a number looks the way it does before trusting it—and ownership of your work.
