Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, offering buy-now-pay-later solutions without hidden fees or compounding interest. The Revenue team drives top-line growth through strategic partnerships, pricing, and go-to-market execution across eCommerce, in-store, telesales, and the Affirm app.
You'll join the Revenue Analytics team as a strategic data partner, responsible for comprehensive analyses, reporting, and data solutions that support and scale the Revenue segments. This is a full-stack analytics role combining strategic insight generation with infrastructure and automation.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Analysis & Communication**: Serve as the data subject-matter expert for Revenue segments and merchants. Create business cases, insights, and dashboards for both internal teams and external merchant partners. Conduct experiments to demonstrate Affirm's value proposition and product performance. Develop internal analyses to assess Revenue performance, drive recommendations, and inform critical business decisions.
**Scaling Impact**: Standardize common analytics use cases, build analytics infrastructure, and automate dashboards and analyses to scale decision-making across Revenue and with top external merchants.
**Comprehensive Solutions Ownership**: Define KPIs, performance benchmarks, and methodologies. Work with structured and unstructured data from in-house and third-party sources. Provide project and analytics guidance to cross-functional teams as the analytics point of contact. Design and monitor experiments to optimize go-to-market efforts, quantify Affirm's value to prospective merchants, and support upsell strategies.
You'll need 5+ years in analytically-driven roles (consulting, finance, analytics). Strong SQL and data visualization skills (Sigma, Looker, Tableau) are essential; Python aptitude is a plus. You should demonstrate proficiency with AI tools for analytics (Cursor, Claude Code). Exceptional problem-solving, ability to operate in ambiguity, and strong communication skills are critical. You'll work independently, drive multiple strategic initiatives, and build successful cross-functional relationships internally and externally. Fintech or payments industry experience and marketplace analytics background are valued.
