iCapital is hiring a Hybrid Sales Associate / Assistant Vice President for its Alternative Investment Distribution team. This role uniquely combines high-volume inside sales with field engagement—blending structured outbound calling with in-person advisor meetings, regional events, and on-site firm visits.
You will execute 50+ outbound calls daily to financial advisors not yet active on the iCapital platform, working from prioritized prospect lists segmented by AUM, firm type, and alternative investment affinity. You'll deliver tailored platform introductions, conduct structured discovery calls to build rich advisor profiles, and execute multi-touch follow-up sequences via phone, email, and digital content to maintain pipeline momentum.
Field responsibilities include regular visits to advisor offices and branch locations within your assigned territory, representation at regional advisor events, due diligence meetings, fund roadshows, and industry conferences. You'll partner with internal product specialists and external fund managers to deliver educational sessions, platform demonstrations, and investment committee presentations. You'll identify and cultivate relationships with branch managers and center-of-influence advisors to expand platform adoption.
You'll maintain a segmented pipeline, prioritize field time for highest-potential opportunities, and flag high-value advisors for escalation to Senior Relationship Managers. All activity—calls, field meetings, contact details, and next steps—must be logged in Salesforce in real time (same day for calls, within 24 hours for field activity). You'll track weekly metrics on call activity, field meetings, registration progress, and conversion rates, and share market intelligence with Distribution, Product, and Marketing teams.
Required: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field; 3–6+ years of sales experience in financial services with inside and/or field sales exposure; demonstrated ability to manage both structured daily call cadence and active field calendar; FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses; strong verbal and written communication; Salesforce CRM and outbound sequencing tool proficiency (Outreach or equivalent); willingness to travel 25–40% within assigned territory; self-directed with strong organizational skills; knowledge of alternative investments; experience selling into or supporting RIAs and independent broker-dealer networks; track record of converting phone-initiated relationships into productive in-person meetings.
Base salary $90,000–$125,000 plus commission-based bonus, equity, employer-matched retirement, subsidized healthcare (100% employer-paid dental, vision, telemedicine, virtual mental health), parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Hybrid schedule: in-office Monday–Thursday, remote flexibility on Friday.
