Omnea is an AI-native procurement automation platform that has raised $75M from top-tier VCs (Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, Accel) and is trusted by enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, and Monzo. The company has 10x'd ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and is recognized as Europe's 4th fastest-growing startup.
As an Applied AI / Technical Account Manager, you'll work directly with strategic enterprise customers to identify high-impact AI opportunities within their procurement operations and translate them into measurable business value. Your role bridges customer needs and Omnea's AI-powered platform, which combines structured procurement data (requests, approvals, contracts, supplier records) with AI to automate and optimize buying processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying high-impact AI opportunities by understanding customer strategic priorities and operational challenges
- Designing AI-powered solutions that translate complex business problems into scalable architectures
- Rapidly prototyping and demonstrating value through proof-of-concept solutions to business and technical stakeholders
- Leading innovation sessions, workshops, and hackathons with customers to explore AI transformation opportunities
- Driving adoption and ensuring successful implementation, measuring and communicating business impact
- Building deep domain expertise in industries like supply chain and finance, scaling knowledge across the organization
What makes this role distinct: you'll focus on problem framing and validation rather than hand-building every proof of value. Writing clear briefs for AI to execute is core to the role. Success is measured by business impact—which use cases move the metrics customers actually care about—rather than build speed. You'll continuously push on what's possible as Omnea's AI tooling evolves and bring learnings back to the team.
You bring 5+ years in solutions consulting, data/AI consulting, technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or customer-facing solution architecture. You excel at translating business challenges into technical solutions, communicating complex concepts to executives, and understanding procurement, finance, and supply chain processes. Strong presentation skills, ability to measure business impact, and hands-on experience designing and building automations or AI-driven solutions for repeatable processes are essential.
