Ramp is building a new AI business and seeking one of its first technical sellers to drive revenue from AI-powered finance products. You'll own the complete sales cycle—from discovery through close—for a growing portfolio of AI applications, agents, and infrastructure designed for finance teams. This is a quota-carrying role that combines technical depth with commercial acumen.
You'll translate complex AI capabilities into clear business value for both technical and executive buyers. In discovery meetings, you'll discuss model routing, APIs, integrations, data governance, and security with Engineering and IT teams. In executive conversations, you'll build ROI analyses and total cost of ownership models that justify investment. You'll deliver tailored demos, technical workshops, and proofs of concept with defined success criteria.
Key responsibilities include: carrying a revenue quota and owning opportunity progression; leading discovery with business and technical stakeholders; building compelling solution narratives tied to measurable outcomes; creating executive-level business cases; identifying high-value use cases and realistic implementation paths; navigating technical questions around APIs, integrations, model capabilities, data flows, privacy, security, and architecture tradeoffs; applying commercial judgment to qualify opportunities and create urgency; partnering with Account Executives and internal teams (Product, Engineering, Security, Marketing); and turning early customer feedback into repeatable messaging, qualification criteria, and sales plays.
You'll join at a formative moment for Ramp's AI business. As one of the first dedicated sellers, you'll help identify strongest use cases, refine positioning and portfolio strategy, influence customer experience, and build the playbook the broader team will scale. This role combines Ramp's resources and customer reach with the ownership, speed, and ambiguity of an early-stage team.
Ramp automates how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies, automating payment authorization, risk flagging, spend categorization, and book closing. Median customers save 5% and grow revenue 16% in their first year.
