Salary: GBP 150,000 - 170,000 / annual
Lifebit is a Series B healthtech company building a federated AI platform that enables secure, cross-institution biomedical research and analysis while keeping sensitive patient data in place. The platform is trusted by leading precision medicine programs, health systems, pharma companies, CROs, academic institutions, and biobanks globally.
You will lead the launch and growth of a new AI product line end-to-end. This is a foundational role with direct influence over product strategy, market positioning, and execution. You will own the complete product lifecycle: setting strategy and roadmap, building hands-on with the engineering team from discovery through shipping and iteration, owning product marketing and positioning, hiring exceptional team members as the unit scales, translating scientific user needs into product decisions through direct customer engagement, and reporting directly to the CEO on progress and adoption.
This role is ideal for someone with deep biomedical domain expertise who understands how to build AI/ML products for scientific users. You'll work in a mission-driven organization focused on advancing healthcare and life sciences through secure data collaboration and analysis.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 to 15 years of product management experience
- Biomedical background (biology, computational biology, genetics, or related discipline) — REQUIRED. Must understand science at the level of a working scientist and engage credibly with biomedical and genetic researchers
- Shipped products to a biomedical scientist user base — FIRM REQUIREMENT
- Deep familiarity with AI/ML product development and the current LLM ecosystem
- Track record of working directly with engineering teams to build and ship, not only to specify
- Strong product marketing instincts; ability to position technical products for enterprise buyers
PREFERRED:
- Experience in genetics, biomedical research, or bioinformatics; passion for the field is essential
