The AI Factory Customer Engineer bridges customers and Armada's product and engineering teams, translating complex AI infrastructure and data center architectures into practical solutions. This role goes beyond traditional pre-sales—you act as the technical interface ensuring customer requirements, constraints, and feedback shape solution design and platform evolution.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conduct deep technical discovery with enterprise and infrastructure customers, understanding their AI compute, data center, and energy requirements
• Design and present tailored AI Factory solutions addressing customer constraints around deployment speed, modularity, liquid cooling, and sovereignty
• Lead technical proof-of-concepts, pilots, and deployments, troubleshooting infrastructure challenges and optimizing configurations
• Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for Armada's engineering roadmap
• Develop technical collateral, case studies, and reference architectures
• Support sales cycles with technical credibility and hands-on demonstrations
• Collaborate with product and engineering on solution refinement and future platform capabilities
Ideal candidates bring:
• 5+ years in data center infrastructure, cloud architecture, or AI/ML systems engineering
• Deep expertise in liquid cooling, modular data centers, NVIDIA GPU architectures, and edge compute
• Strong understanding of energy, power distribution, and thermal management in high-density compute environments
• Experience selling or pre-selling complex infrastructure solutions to enterprise or industrial customers
• Ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with engineering-first mindset
• Excellent communication skills translating technical concepts for diverse stakeholder groups
This role is instrumental in driving adoption and long-term success for Armada's AI Factory offerings in a rapidly growing market.
