LangChain is hiring an AI Engineer for their Enablement team in London. The role sits at the intersection of technical depth and customer education, focused on helping enterprise customers build production-ready AI agents on the LangChain platform.
You'll own the technical onboarding experience for new enterprise customers, designing and delivering hands-on workshops that build genuine product fluency. Beyond 1:1 customer work, you'll run focused advisory sprints helping teams navigate agent architecture and evaluation challenges. A key part of the role is building internal agents and tools that make the Enablement team itself more efficient—automating processes so the team scales without just adding headcount.
You'll create scalable enablement assets (tutorials, reference implementations, best-practice guides) and act as the voice of new customers inside LangChain, feeding friction points back to Product and Engineering teams. The role requires staying current on agent engineering practices and folding those learnings into what you teach.
Required experience: 3+ years building LLM/agent applications with real architecture and evaluation design (not just API integration). Strong Python skills with comfort writing and debugging code live in front of customers. 2+ years in a technical customer-facing role (Enablement, Customer Success Engineering, Solutions Engineering) with experience designing and delivering live workshops. You genuinely enjoy teaching and can translate complex technical concepts for both individual developers and enterprise stakeholders. You're comfortable operating independently, managing multiple customer engagements simultaneously, and willing to travel up to 20% for customer work.
Nice-to-have: production AI agent deployment experience (especially with LangChain/LangGraph), hands-on LangSmith experience (evals, tracing, observability), cloud environment familiarity (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, Kubernetes basics, and TypeScript/JavaScript alongside Python.
