Replicant is building an AI-first platform for enterprise contact centers, handling millions of calls monthly for Fortune 500 companies. The platform combines AI agents that resolve customer requests with real-time conversation intelligence for agent coaching and performance improvement.
As the first AI Enablement Engineer, you will build the internal AI infrastructure and enablement program from the ground up. This is a hybrid consulting and engineering role where you'll partner across Sales, Delivery, Finance, R&D, and People teams to understand their workflows and build the foundations that unlock AI adoption company-wide.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building the "paved road" for AI adoption: establishing clear standards for where solutions live, access controls, cost tracking, and making the safe path the fast path for teams using Claude Enterprise and Replicant's AI Operating System.
- Turning wins into reusable patterns: converting one-off successful workflows into templates, agent specs, and shared skills that enable teams to build solutions independently without your involvement.
- Building internal AI literacy: partnering with People & HR on training, running office hours, and developing AI champions within each function.
- Owning technical foundations: managing MCP integrations, shared agents, agent identity management, and connections to commercial tools. Building custom solutions that bridge technology gaps with Engineering.
- Driving cost visibility and optimization: creating Finance visibility into AI spend, consolidating redundant tools, surfacing shadow AI usage, and optimizing costs through prompt caching, model routing, and better agent design.
You'll work hands-on with every function, building the first solution alongside the owner so they can build the second independently. Success means enabling the entire company to leverage AI without becoming a bottleneck.
Required experience: 5+ years as a Systems Engineer, Solutions Engineer, IT Engineer, or similar role at a SaaS or cloud-native company. You've deployed and optimized AI tools at scale, working consultatively to diagnose problems and scope work. You're comfortable with Python, TypeScript, or shell scripting; SDLC fundamentals; MCP; agent frameworks; secure authentication; retrieval; and API integration across enterprise SaaS. You can translate business needs into working solutions, explain them clearly to build trust, and defend your approach to leadership. You're a multiplier who prefers building easy, safe paths and handing them over rather than becoming the bottleneck.
