Eve is a legal-tech platform built on AI that helps plaintiff law firms handle more cases and recover more for clients. The company has achieved product-market fit with 1000+ law firms, raised $160M+ from top investors (Spark Capital, A16z, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed), and is growing 2X revenue quarter-over-quarter.
You'll own Eve's strategy and execution for visibility across AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews). This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role focused on turning AI visibility into a real growth channel.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive Eve's AEO (AI Engine Optimization) and GEO (Google Engine Optimization) strategy across major AI platforms
- Create high-quality, citation-worthy content designed to be cited by AI systems, not just published
- Build and maintain measurement reporting for citation rate, share of voice, and visibility across AI answer engines
- Audit and improve eve.legal content for AI retrieval: clear answers, FAQs, comparisons, schema, structured data
- Collaborate with marketing and PR to get Eve into conversations where citations originate (review sites, legal directories, communities, press)
- Run growth experiments to test what moves citation rate and share of voice
- Brief and manage contractors across content creation, AEO, and technical SEO
You'll need a track record of moving AI visibility and content growth metrics (citations, organic traffic, qualified sign-ups). You're scrappy and ship-focused—preferring to test, measure, and iterate rather than over-plan. You have working SEO knowledge (search, schema, AI retrieval), strong writing ability for a lawyer audience, and comfort with tools like Profound, Peec AI, Airops, Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush, and GA4. You can brief and manage contractors without losing quality standards.
Bonus: experience in legal tech, B2B SaaS, or selling to skeptical/non-technical buyers; existing relationships in legal-industry communities and publications.
