Braze is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and expand relationships within a focused set of large media, entertainment, gaming, and sports companies across North America. You will own a territory of new prospects and existing customers, collaborating with internal teams to close six-figure deals and deepen strategic partnerships.
The ideal candidate brings 3-5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record closing deals with organizations exceeding 1,000 employees. You should have deep familiarity with complex enterprise decision-making processes and organizational structures. Prior experience selling analytics, CRM, marketing automation, digital media publishing, or content marketing solutions—particularly to marketers in retail—is highly valued.
Key responsibilities include owning a book of business, managing both new logo acquisition and upsells, collaborating across cross-functional teams (Business Development, Marketing, Deal Desk, Strategic Consulting, Customer Success), and working with external partners including systems integrators, technology vendors, and agencies. You will identify decision-makers, navigate complex sales cycles, and build strong relationships across the organization.
Required qualifications: background in enterprise sales for mobile, marketing technology, or analytics; strong understanding of retail marketing landscape; excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; demonstrated complex solution-selling experience; training in value selling and business value assessments (Command of the Message a plus); proficiency with Salesforce.com, Clari, or equivalent CRM; ability to quickly master new cloud applications; proven success identifying decision-makers in large organizations; and willingness to travel.
Braze offers competitive compensation, equity (RSUs), retirement and ESPP plans, flexible PTO, comprehensive medical/dental/vision/life/disability coverage, fertility benefits, equal paid parental leave, and professional development with formal career pathing.
