Armis by ServiceNow is seeking an Advisory Solution Consultant to serve as a key technical resource in federal government sales engagements. This role bridges the gap between prospects and ServiceNow's agentless cybersecurity platform, focusing on demonstrating value through hands-on technical work.
You will work closely with federal prospects and sales teams to deliver virtual and in-person technical demonstrations of the Armis platform, design and deploy proof-of-value installations, and lead technical training sessions based on POV findings. You'll develop prospect-facing documentation, support marketing activities and conferences, and contribute to identifying new use cases for the platform.
The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills to address complex prospect needs, critical thinking across the full sales and support lifecycle, and the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges. You'll work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while delivering significant individual contributions. Travel is expected up to 40% of the time on average.
Required qualifications include a BS in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience, plus 10+ years in technical pre-sales roles (Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect) ideally with cybersecurity vendor experience. You must have 10+ years in customer-facing or customer support positions and a solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies. A demonstrated track record of owning complex initiatives and closing enterprise cybersecurity SaaS deals is essential.
Preferred knowledge includes IoT/OT/IoMT, wireless technologies (WLCs, Meraki, Aruba), Linux, virtualized environments, network knowledge, and Python scripting. A Top Secret security clearance is preferred and may be required for federal work.
