Salary: CAD 46,000 - 55,000 / annual

Aviso is a leading wealth management services provider in Canada, with approximately $145 billion in assets under administration and management and over 1,000 employees. The company serves credit unions, portfolio managers, investment brokers, insurance companies, trust companies, and discount brokers across Canada. We are seeking a Transfer Administrator to join our Transfers team. Reporting to the Transfers Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily processing of transfers, reviews, approvals, and management of escalated situations. The successful candidate is collaborative, eager to acquire knowledge and experience, and demonstrates enthusiasm and energy in a dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Process transfer requests according to service level agreements - Monitor transfer mailbox and collect incoming mail - Initiate new manual or NELTC transfers, including internal transfers - Verify the status of launched transfers and follow up - Provide operational support for transfers to external institutions - File completed transfer documents and shred all printed documents - Review and respond to transfer inquiry requests - Assist and cover for other team members as needed - Take on special projects or other assignments as requested You will work within Aviso's core values: taking care of people, daring to innovate, exceeding expectations through collaboration, and delivering results. The role is based in Montreal with standard Eastern Time hours. Requirements: - Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience - Minimum 1-2 years of back-office administration experience in a mutual fund or investment firm - Strong attention to detail and precision - Solid problem-solving skills - Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to juggle multiple tasks to meet daily deadlines - Strong team player mentality for both your department and the broader organization - Strong desire to become a subject matter expert over time and proactive commitment to understanding other operations team functions - Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) - Knowledge and experience with Dataphile, Fundserv, CDS, and DTCC is an asset - Fluent written and oral proficiency in both English and French required to communicate effectively with partners, clients, and colleagues across Canada - Ability to work standard Eastern Time hours
