DTX Pharma, a Novartis Company, is seeking an Associate Director to lead rare disease data partnerships within the Strategy, Platforms and Transformation organization. This role sits within the Data Innovation, Partnerships and Products team and is critical to enabling data-driven decision-making across Novartis' rare disease commercial organization.
You will establish, manage, and strengthen strategic partnerships with external data providers, platforms, and vendors focused on rare disease data assets. Key responsibilities include implementing the rare disease data partnership strategy, identifying critical data needs across US Commercial brands and functions, and ensuring all external data sources meet rigorous standards for quality, security, privacy, and compliance.
You will oversee data stewardship practices, monitor partnership performance and spend, and provide governance reporting to senior leadership. Working closely with data vendors, business stakeholders, analytics teams, field enablement, patient access, and patient services teams, you'll translate rare disease business needs into practical data solutions and guide internal teams on extracting actionable insights from available data sources.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience establishing and managing data partnerships, with deep expertise in healthcare and rare disease data landscapes. Prior experience working with or for a data vendor is strongly preferred, as you'll need to assess vendor capabilities, manage partnership performance, and navigate data-related risks including privacy, security, quality, compliance, and small patient population considerations. You'll be committed to continuous improvement, leveraging data insights, vendor expertise, and industry trends to maximize the value of external data assets.
