This Accountant role focuses on logistics vendor invoice validation and financial controls. You will own the end-to-end logistics invoice review process, validating invoice rates and delivered quantities against internal system records, approved vendor quotes, and contracted pricing. Key responsibilities include investigating discrepancies between vendor invoices and internal data, communicating with logistics vendors to resolve rate differences and billing errors, and ensuring corrected invoices are processed for payment.
You will maintain accurate documentation of invoice reviews and discrepancy resolutions, support month-end logistics cost validation and reconciliation, and work closely with Logistics, FP&A, and Operations teams to understand shipment and cost data. The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and controls in the logistics invoice validation workflow.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 2–4 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or invoice validation, and a strong understanding of invoice processing, vendor billing, and cost validation. Experience reviewing logistics or supply chain-related invoices is preferred. You should have strong attention to detail, the ability to identify discrepancies in large datasets, and excellent communication skills for vendor interactions.
