BillionToOne is a publicly traded Nasdaq company transforming healthcare through precision diagnostics, particularly in prenatal and cancer screening. This Account Support Representative role is a field sales position based in North Carolina, reporting to a Regional Manager - Prenatal.
You will drive market adoption of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen—the first and only single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screen—by building relationships with OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists, genetic counselors, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers across your territory. This is a consultative, relationship-driven sales role where you'll have direct influence over how the product is communicated to physicians and patients, and how it evolves to meet market needs.
Key responsibilities include prospecting and cultivating new business, identifying and managing relationships with key opinion leaders, developing strategic business plans for geographic growth, managing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through close, and representing the company at industry conferences and networking events. You'll deliver clinical information to both external clients and internal teams, assess customer needs, coordinate logistics, and solve problems with a focus on closing business.
You'll need a minimum of three years of outside field sales experience in healthcare, calling directly on providers in your territory. A strong sales track record, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), effective time management, and the ability to work independently in a startup environment are essential. You should be exceptionally bright, self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable with urgency and strategic thinking. Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, and ethics is required, along with demonstrated values aligned with BillionToOne's mission.
Nice-to-haves include startup experience, women's health background, clinical laboratory experience, or an existing book of business you could bring to the role.
