BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company transforming prenatal and cancer diagnostics. This Account Support Representative role is a field sales position based in South Carolina, reporting to a Regional Manager - Prenatal.
You will drive utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen, a category-defining single-gene NIPT with carrier and aneuploidy screening capabilities. Your territory covers OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists, genetic counselors, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct field sales to individual providers and clinics in your geographic territory
- Identifying and developing relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
- Prospecting and cultivating new business while maintaining key accounts
- Creating and executing strategic business plans to drive regional utilization
- Managing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through closing
- Attending industry conferences, tradeshows, and networking events
- Delivering clinical information to external clients and internal teams
- Influencing how the test is communicated to physicians and patients
You'll need minimum three years of outside field sales experience in healthcare, calling directly on providers. A strong track record of successful sales, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and ability to present to both internal and external customers are essential. You must demonstrate effective time management, strategic thinking, tactical execution, and a consultative sales approach focused on understanding medical professionals' needs.
Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, and healthcare ethics is required. Experience in startup environments, women's health, clinical laboratory work, or convertible book of business are valuable but not required.
