BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company transforming prenatal and cancer diagnostics. This Account Support Representative role is a field sales position covering the DMV region (Maryland, Washington D.C., and Eastern Virginia), reporting to a Regional Manager - Prenatal.
You will drive adoption of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen, the first and only single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screen, by building relationships with OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists, genetic counselors, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers. Your responsibilities include direct sales prospecting and relationship management, identifying key opinion leaders, developing strategic business plans for your territory, managing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through closing, and representing the company at industry conferences and networking events.
You will have significant influence over how the diagnostic test is communicated to physicians and patients, and how the product evolves to meet market needs. This is a consultative sales role requiring deep understanding of buyer types, clinical workflows, and healthcare decision-making processes.
Required qualifications: minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in healthcare, calling directly on providers; demonstrated sales track record with strong presentation and listening skills; excellent organizational and communication abilities; effective time management and prioritization; self-motivation and results orientation; knowledge of HIPAA compliance; ability to work independently in a startup environment.
Nice-to-haves include startup experience, women's health background, clinical laboratory experience, or an existing book of business in the territory.
