Deliveroo is seeking an Account Manager for Groceries & Retail to drive the success of a portfolio of retail and grocery partners in France. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing growth and profitability across your accounts while ensuring an excellent user experience on the Deliveroo platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with major retail and grocery players, leveraging marketplace and foodtech expertise
- Developing joint business plans with key partners, covering pricing, product range, rollout strategy, operations, and technology reviews
- Managing portfolio expansion and negotiating marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives
- Conducting daily performance analysis of partner brands and Deliveroo operations to identify issues and continuously improve service levels
- Creating and optimizing processes and tools to support partner success and scale operations
- Ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and managing partner relationships
- Driving both operational and commercial objectives, including service sales targets
You will work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you can influence processes and contribute directly to Deliveroo's expansion in the grocery and retail vertical. The role combines commercial negotiation, strategic planning, data analysis, and hands-on operational involvement.
Required qualifications:
- 3-6 years of account management or sales experience
- Experience in large-scale retail or grocery distribution is a strong plus
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and ability to anticipate business discussions
- Strategic mindset with ability to break down unstructured problems and develop actionable plans
- Analytical capability to synthesize data and identify performance drivers
- Proactive, field-oriented approach with operational involvement
- Customer-centric mindset with focus on operational excellence
- Fluent in French and English (required)
