Jobber is a mobile-first SaaS platform that empowers small home service businesses (plumbers, painters, landscapers) to quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments. The Account Manager role is part of the Sales team and reports to the Manager, Expansion. You will manage a funnel of existing customers to identify expansion opportunities through additional features and products. This is a consultative, outbound-focused role where you proactively connect with customers to recommend how they can better utilize Jobber, driving both customer success and revenue growth. Key responsibilities include encouraging subscription upgrades and adoption of the online payments software, hitting and exceeding revenue targets, collaborating cross-functionally to communicate customer feedback, and maintaining accurate records in Salesforce. Success requires demonstrated outbound sales experience with commission/targets, high energy in a dynamic environment with short sales cycles, tenacity to handle rejection and drive results, problem-solving ability, coachability and adaptability, enthusiasm for technology, and strong communication skills with emphasis on active listening and consultative selling. CRM experience (preferably Salesforce) is required. Compensation is transparent and fixed: $50,000 base salary plus $30,000 commission for an on-target earnings (OTE) of $80,000. Commission is uncapped and paid monthly, offering upside potential. The total package includes equity, annual health and wellness stipends, retirement matching, extended health coverage with fully paid premiums, and clear growth pathways into leadership or specialized roles. The company offers dedicated talent development including career coaching. The role is hybrid and open to candidates in Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo. Jobber has been recognized by Great Place to Work, named to Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures, Globe and Mail's Top Growing Companies, and Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists.
