The Account Manager, Financial Services role sits within the Customer Success team, which combines Product Specialists and Account Managers serving Fortune 1000 businesses and major financial institutions. This position focuses on developing three-dimensional relationships with financial services clients spanning hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and private equity firms. Key responsibilities include maximizing retention rates across a book of business, driving adoption of AlphaSense solutions into new business units within existing clients, identifying revenue at risk to prevent churn, forecasting retention, and collaborating with Account Executives to uncover growth opportunities. The role requires serving as the primary point of contact for inbound queries, outbound engagement, relationship updates, and renewal discussions. You'll need strong relationship-building skills with demonstrated success managing Fortune 1000 and financial services clients. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert with business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly. You should understand SaaS best practices and ideally have exposure to AI and research-based products. Exceptional communication skills are essential—you'll engage regularly with analysts through C-level executives, distilling complex issues into simple terms. The role demands grit, work ethic, initiative, and commitment to delivering results.
