The Account Manager, Financial Services role sits within the Customer Success team, which combines Product Specialists and Account Managers serving Fortune 1000 businesses and major financial institutions. This position focuses on developing three-dimensional relationships with financial services clients spanning hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and private equity firms. Key responsibilities include: maximizing retention rates across your book of business; driving adoption of AlphaSense solutions into new business units within existing clients to exceed revenue targets; identifying revenue at risk to prevent churn; forecasting retention rates; and collaborating with Account Executives to uncover growth opportunities. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for inbound queries, outbound engagement, relationship updates, and renewal discussions. The role requires strong relationship-building skills with demonstrated success managing Fortune 1000 and financial services clients. You should be a subject matter expert with deep business acumen, strong internal and external relationship management capabilities, and familiarity with SaaS best practices. Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and exposure to AI or research-based products are valued. Exceptional communication skills—oral, written, and presentation—are essential, as you'll engage with analysts through C-level executives and distill complex issues into simple terms. The team is consultative, value-driven, and obsessed with ensuring clients have the right data to make informed decisions.
