Constructor is a next-generation ecommerce search and discovery platform powered by proprietary transformers and generative LLMs. The company serves major brands like Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco, processing over 1 billion queries daily across 150 languages.
As an Account Manager for the DACH region, you will own the strategic relationship with a portfolio of large enterprise ecommerce clients. Your primary responsibilities include building deep relationships with clients to understand their business goals and how Constructor's platform maps to those objectives. You will manage complex enterprise renewal and upsell cycles from initial engagement through close, presenting to stakeholders from business champions to C-suite executives. You will identify and mitigate risk within your book of business, educate clients on new use cases and features that create value, and uncover expansion opportunities.
You will work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams to support client goals and ensure successful Quarterly Business Reviews. You will maintain detailed records in internal systems, communicate customer status and needs, and drive both retention and expansion metrics.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of direct experience managing large enterprise clients in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales roles within SaaS companies, ideally with ecommerce exposure. Fluent German language skills are mandatory. You must demonstrate proven ability to influence and build relationships at VP+ levels, manage complex multi-stakeholder renewal cycles, uncover and manage risk, and consistently exceed retention and expansion targets. Strong understanding of ecommerce business models, KPIs, analytics, A/B testing, and conversion optimization is essential. You should be comfortable juggling multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail and the ability to tailor communication across technical and business teams.
