As Account Manager, Corporate, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Fortune 1000 and large financial institution clients. Your core responsibilities include maximizing retention rates, identifying and preventing churn, forecasting retention, and uncovering expansion opportunities within existing accounts by driving adoption across business units. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives to identify white-space opportunities and craft compelling messaging to prospective users within client organizations.
You'll manage three-dimensional relationships with diverse stakeholders—from analysts to C-level executives—across all industries and verticals. The role requires strong business acumen: understanding client organizational structures, roles, responsibilities, projects, and performance metrics to communicate effectively with both users and decision-makers. You will also serve as a voice of the customer internally, extracting insights and feedback to inform product, marketing, and sales strategy.
Key responsibilities include holding regular business reviews, managing renewal discussions, forecasting revenue at risk, and ensuring AlphaSense is viewed as a trusted business partner rather than a vendor. You'll report to the Director of Account Management and work within a Customer Success team of Product Specialists and Account Managers committed to consultative problem-solving and client success.
Ideal candidates are relationship-driven with demonstrated success managing Fortune 1000 accounts, possess strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation), and understand SaaS best practices for client engagement. You should be intellectually curious, adaptable, and committed to delivering results with grit and initiative.
