AlphaSense is a market intelligence and AI-powered search platform trusted by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500. The company delivers insights from public and private content including equity research, company filings, event transcripts, expert calls, and news. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in NYC with 2,000+ employees globally, AlphaSense acquired Tegus in 2024 to expand its capabilities. The Account Manager, Corporate role is part of the Customer Success team, which combines Product Specialists and Account Managers serving Fortune 1000 businesses and major financial institutions. This position focuses on developing three-dimensional relationships with corporate clients to drive retention, adoption, and expansion revenue. Key responsibilities include: maximizing retention rates across a portfolio of accounts; identifying and driving adoption of AlphaSense solutions into new business units within existing clients; forecasting retention and identifying revenue at risk; collaborating with Account Executives to uncover growth opportunities; conducting business reviews and onboarding/training initiatives; serving as the primary point of contact for inbound queries and renewal discussions; and acting as an internal advocate for client feedback to product, marketing, and sales teams. The role requires deep understanding of client business structures, roles, and performance metrics to communicate effectively with both users and decision-makers. Success involves cultivating relationships where AlphaSense is viewed as a strategic business partner rather than a vendor, conducting floor walks and lunch-and-learns, and consistently delivering proactive, relevant outreach. Account Managers extract market intelligence from clients and circulate insights internally to inform product development and go-to-market strategy. This is a consultative, relationship-driven position requiring versatility across industries and verticals, with clear KPIs around retention rate and growth opportunity identification.
