Stedi is building the first new healthcare clearinghouse in decades, modernizing a legacy industry dominated by outdated technology. The company offers a programmable healthcare clearinghouse with modern API interfaces alongside traditional EDI processes, enabling healthcare technology businesses and established players to exchange mission-critical transactions like claims, eligibility checks, prior authorizations, and remittances in HIPAA X12 format.
As an Account Manager, you will own a large segment of Stedi's fastest-growing customers and drive significant revenue expansion. You'll serve as the primary commercial point of contact for a book of high-value accounts representing a substantial percentage of monthly recurring revenue. Your responsibilities include managing an expansion pipeline in the CRM to track upsells, cross-sells, renewals, and transaction usage growth. You'll identify new expansion use cases, support technical validation, address pricing and contractual blockers, and ensure successful product adoption.
You'll interface daily with customer stakeholders—executives, product managers, engineers, and ops teams—through multiple channels. You'll proactively surface product and usage insights to remove adoption barriers and collaborate with internal teams including solutions engineering, payer operations, data analytics, and leadership.
The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of quota-carrying sales, account management, sales engineering, or customer success experience with a strong track record supporting adoption of technical API-driven products. Healthcare industry experience is essential—ideally from software companies selling to payers, providers, RCM businesses, or EHR/practice management systems. You're comfortable with technical products, speak the language of APIs, and exhibit genuine curiosity. You excel at managing multiple open threads simultaneously, are hyper-responsive and organized, and strive to become customers' most trusted advisor. You have a low ego, are resourceful and self-motivated, and move with urgency both externally and internally.
