Salary: CAD 50,000 - 80,000 / annual
Jobber is a mobile-first SaaS platform empowering small home service businesses (plumbers, painters, landscapers) with tools to quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments. The Account Manager role sits within the Sales department, reporting to the Manager of Expansion, and focuses on expanding revenue from existing customers through upselling and cross-selling.
Key responsibilities include managing a funnel of existing customers to identify expansion opportunities, proactively recommending additional features and products (particularly subscription upgrades and online payments), hitting and exceeding revenue targets, collaborating cross-functionally to communicate customer feedback and campaign insights, and maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
Success requires demonstrated outbound sales experience with commission/targets, high energy and comfort with high-volume, dynamic selling environments, tenacity to handle rejection and quickly move forward, problem-solving mindset, coachability and adaptability to evolving processes, genuine enthusiasm for technology, and strong communication skills with emphasis on active listening and consultative selling. Phone-based customer engagement is a core part of the role. Prior CRM experience (ideally Salesforce) is expected.
Compensation is transparent and fixed: $50,000 base salary plus $30,000 commission (OTE $80,000), with uncapped monthly commission payouts offering upside potential. The total package includes equity, annual health and wellness stipends, retirement matching, extended health coverage with fully paid premiums, and structured career development through coaching and advancement pathways.
The role is hybrid, based in one of Jobber's hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo. Jobber has been recognized by Great Place to Work, named to Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures, Globe and Mail's Top Growing Companies, and Deloitte Canada's Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists.
