Jobber is a mobile-first SaaS platform helping small home service businesses (plumbers, painters, landscapers) manage quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payments. The Account Manager role focuses on customer expansion and retention within an existing customer base.
Reporting to the Manager of Expansion, you will manage a funnel of current customers to identify upsell opportunities—primarily encouraging subscription upgrades and adoption of Jobber's online payments product. You'll proactively engage customers with recommendations on how to better utilize the platform to drive their business success while growing revenue for Jobber. Success requires hitting and exceeding quarterly/annual targets through consultative selling.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts
- Conducting outbound customer outreach with product recommendations
- Driving upgrades to higher-tier subscriptions and ancillary products
- Tracking customer interactions and pipeline data in Salesforce
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to communicate feedback and align on initiatives
- Consistently achieving revenue targets with uncapped commission upside
You'll thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced sales environment with a relatively short sales cycle and high-volume activity. The ideal candidate has proven outbound sales experience with commission-based compensation, strong phone and consultative selling skills, familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and the resilience to handle rejection and adapt quickly. You should be coachable, solution-oriented, and genuinely excited about technology and empowering small businesses.
Jobber has been recognized by Great Place to Work, named to Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures, Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies, and Deloitte Canada's Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists. The company was founded in 2011 and has grown significantly while maintaining a culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.
