GetYourGuide is a global marketplace connecting travelers with unique activities and experiences. We're seeking an Account Manager to join our Sales team in San Francisco, managing a book of mid-market supplier partners (tours, activities, and experience providers) across the US and Canada.
You'll own full accountability for your accounts' performance, satisfaction, and commercial growth on the platform. Your core responsibilities include managing and growing a portfolio of mid-market supplier accounts, understanding your assigned markets, and hitting performance targets. You'll empower accounts for success through education, resources, and enablement, becoming their strategic partner for growth and long-term retention.
Key activities include pitching, cross-selling, and upselling high-velocity commercial opportunities such as new activity listings, increased availability, and commission negotiations. You'll partner with internal teams to identify roadblocks, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and escalate tactfully to provide a world-class supplier experience. You'll focus on operational excellence by monitoring partner health, solving supplier challenges like reducing cancellation rates, promoting on-trip quality, and increasing review scores to foster great customer experiences.
You'll review account performance regularly, share clear insights with management, and proactively flag expansion opportunities. The role requires 2-3 years of Account Management or Customer Success experience, ideally in tech or marketplace environments. You should have a track record of hitting commercial targets, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust quickly. A data-driven mindset is essential—you're comfortable with performance metrics and turning numbers into action. You thrive in fast-paced environments, solve problems proactively, and bring genuine enthusiasm for travel and GetYourGuide's mission.
The position operates on a hybrid schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in-office; Wednesday and Friday remote.
