The Account Manager role is a client-facing position focused on deepening relationships with key business stakeholders and driving account growth through consultative selling and strategic partnership.
Key responsibilities include cultivating and growing relationships with key business stakeholders to deepen Flexport engagement; meeting regularly with clients to monitor account health and identify improvement opportunities; identifying, developing, and closing upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities; monitoring client financial health and payment schedules; leading client onboarding and creating standard operating procedures; scoping and guiding implementation timelines for new opportunities; working with Global Operations teams to ensure metrics meet client expectations and resolve escalations; leading quarterly strategy reviews with minimal guidance; driving product adoption to ensure clients realize full value; regularly reviewing and documenting client success criteria; expanding knowledge of supply chain processes through training; and maintaining data in Salesforce to monitor book of business health.
Required qualifications include professional fluency in English and Dutch; 2-4 years of experience in sales, account management, or client-facing roles; client-centric mindset obsessed with client outcomes; hands-on, process-oriented, structured thinking with strong problem-solving skills; deep curiosity about client needs; next-level attention to detail; strong business acumen; proven track record of cross-selling; and strong focus on growing customers through consultative approach. Background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is preferred.
