Aurora Solar is seeking a Senior Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of customers across Europe, primarily in Germany, the UK, and France. You will drive retention, adoption, and expansion by building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and connecting Aurora's software solutions to their business goals.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to solar installers, EPCs, and developers, identifying opportunities to deepen product usage, introduce new solutions, and ensure customers achieve meaningful returns on their Aurora investment. You'll own the full account lifecycle including renewals, commercial negotiations, and strategic account planning. Your responsibilities include developing and executing strategic account plans with measurable usage growth targets, building pipeline through upsell and cross-sell identification, using product usage data and metrics to forecast expansion and flag churn risk, leading executive business reviews, and collaborating across Product, Sales Engineering, Implementation, Support, and Marketing teams.
You bring 3+ years of account management, customer success, or sales experience in SaaS, energy technology, or related fields. You have a proven track record growing customer portfolios through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells, with strong commercial acumen including contract and pricing negotiation experience. You excel at building strategic relationships with executive stakeholders in complex organizations, using data to drive adoption and develop account strategies, and managing pipeline and renewals in CRM systems like Salesforce. You communicate effectively across teams and demonstrate strong organizational discipline.
Desirable qualifications include experience in solar, clean energy, or climate tech; familiarity with solar design platforms or project workflows; experience with consumption-based SaaS models; background in high-growth or remote-first companies; and experience working across multiple European markets. Professional English proficiency is required; German or French language skills are a strong plus.
Aurora is a remote-first company recognized as one of the Best Remote Companies by BuiltIn.com and a Certified Green Business. The company provides work-from-home stipends, flexible paid time off, standard laptop, and annual healthcare budget through AXA.
