As an Account Manager (Care Transformation), you will own the full commercial lifecycle of assigned enterprise health system accounts, from post-signature through renewal and expansion. Your responsibilities include:
- Owning commercial outcomes: protecting and growing revenue through renewals and expansions, building renewal readiness ahead of contract expiration, and qualifying expansion opportunities as they emerge.
- Taking ownership at enterprise signature: accepting full stakeholder accountability, understanding relationship history and deal context, and driving adoption and utilization from day one.
- Building high-trust partnerships: serving as the face of Ambience to health system customers, earning confidence from C-suite to frontline staff, and aligning clinical, operational, financial, and IT leaders.
- Generating expansion demand: identifying new product and care setting opportunities, building clinical champions, running pilots, and producing proof points for expansion.
- Delivering ROI narratives: creating clear value stories aligned to health system priorities, owning quarterly business reviews and executive readouts, and building economic evidence for renewals and expansions.
- Setting account strategy: documenting customer context, partnership assessment, and quarterly goals; maintaining scorecards that rate partnership health on evidence.
- Contributing to team playbooks: capturing repeatable frameworks to help the broader Care Transformation team scale.
The role requires up to 30% travel for onsite customer support, stakeholder meetings, and QBRs across the US. All travel expenses are covered.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of experience in strategic account management, healthcare transformation, health tech implementation, or healthcare management consulting, with direct experience working with provider organizations and navigating complex health systems.
- Proven ownership of commercial outcomes: renewals, expansions, pricing and packaging decisions, and contract negotiation (hands-on, not advisory).
- Track record of managing and expanding enterprise partnerships, including post-sale motions, growing deployed footprints into enterprise-wide relationships, and building champions across clinical, operational, and executive teams.
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency across clinical, operational, and financial language; ability to meet stakeholders where they are and communicate with clarity and credibility.
- Comfort operating independently in high-ambiguity environments; ability to bring structure, anticipate roadblocks, and take ownership without waiting for instructions.
- Deep mission alignment with healthcare transformation and urgency to fix systemic healthcare problems.
