Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for major brands like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The Account Manager role is based in Stockholm and sits within a collaborative, pooled Account Management team focused on mid-sized, fast-growth merchants across multiple industries.
In this position, you will manage relationships with innovative international merchants, working across multiple verticals and channels. Your primary responsibilities include ramping and growing customer accounts with a focus on commercial growth, customer satisfaction, and churn reduction. You'll drive commercial discussions, identify expansion opportunities, and serve as a feedback loop between customers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include: collaborating with fellow Account Managers on a diverse portfolio of accounts; managing short and long-term projects with varying timelines; conducting analytical and data-driven analysis of customer performance; leading customer meetings and relationship development; and prioritizing efficiency while maintaining strong customer partnerships.
You should be a strategic thinker with hands-on mentality, comfortable with spreadsheet analysis and technical discussions about payments infrastructure. The role requires strong communication skills, natural networking ability, and self-starter mentality. You'll work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with significant autonomy and the opportunity to develop expertise in the global payments landscape through Adyen's AM Academy.
The position is hybrid-based in Stockholm with an expectation of in-person collaboration. Some domestic and international travel is required. Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
