As an Account Management Specialist, you will own merchant retention and reactivation across a portfolio of inactive merchant accounts. Your primary responsibilities include executing win-back campaigns, identifying and resolving merchant pain points through direct communication, and surfacing cross-selling and cross-border growth opportunities. You'll serve as the frontline point of contact for B2B merchant support via calls and email, providing hands-on account management.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute merchant win-back and reactivation campaigns, tracking performance against targets
- Identify and resolve merchant pain points, escalating complex issues to product and partner teams
- Surface cross-selling and cross-border opportunities within existing accounts
- Provide direct B2B merchant support via calls and email
- Analyze merchant engagement data using Google Sheets and Tableau to identify churn patterns
- Collaborate across Product, Business Development, Marketing, and Partner Support teams
- Monitor merchant performance metrics and proactively recommend improvements
Required qualifications include fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken), proven problem-solving with an ownership mentality, strong communication skills, data-driven decision-making ability, and prior experience in account management, account operations, or similar customer-facing retention roles. Comfort with spreadsheets and basic analytics tools is essential.
Nice-to-have qualifications include background in fintech or BNPL products, sales or merchant support experience, merchant escalation and conflict resolution experience, retention analytics knowledge, account portfolio management experience, and CRM platform familiarity.
