Docker is seeking a Strategic Account Executive for the EMEA region to manage and expand relationships with key enterprise accounts. This is a senior individual contributor sales role focused on complex, large-scale customer relationships.
You will own a portfolio of strategic accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and internal advocate for client needs. Responsibilities include developing deep understanding of client business objectives, creating and executing strategic growth plans, identifying expansion opportunities through cross-sell and upsell, conducting market and competitive analysis, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, customer success) to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with strategic F100 clients
- Develop strategic business plans aligned with client goals and company revenue targets
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive positioning, and new opportunities
- Lead contract negotiations ensuring favorable terms
- Provide accurate forecasting and track key account metrics
- Collaborate across sales, marketing, product, and customer service teams
You'll spend the first 30 days understanding Docker's products, competitive landscape, and building internal relationships. By 90 days, you'll have developed detailed strategic plans for each account and begun pursuing new business opportunities. Within one year, you should have exceeded sales targets, demonstrated account growth, established deep trust-based relationships, and identified process improvements.
