Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company building the platform for AI-native development. As an Account Executive focused on Startups, you'll help founders and technical leaders unlock Vercel's full value—from initial adoption through scaling. You'll build trusted relationships with pre-seed through Series D+ companies making critical architectural decisions, analyze usage patterns to identify expansion opportunities, and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include landing new logos in the startup segment, driving early activation and positioning Vercel as the default choice before competitors engage, and focusing on pipeline generation and outbound prospecting to identify high-potential startups early. You'll partner with founders and developers as they adopt AI-native features and architectures, helping them understand how Vercel's Frontend Cloud fits into the evolving developer ecosystem and supports new workloads, performance requirements, and scaling patterns.
You'll operate with high leverage by using automation, agents, and self-built workflows to maximize impact and focus time on the most impactful customer work. The role involves helping refine early go-to-market motions and turning what works into repeatable playbooks across the startup portfolio.
You're someone who sits at the intersection of technical curiosity, commercial excellence, and startup mindset. You have strong pattern recognition, founder empathy, and the ability to speak credibly with fast-moving companies across funding stages. You learn complex technical products quickly, reason about how modern web and AI-native applications are built and scaled, and can speak comfortably with developers and founders using their language. You have strong sales acumen, own revenue outcomes across deal sizes and complexities, and believe the best revenue outcomes come from deeply successful customers, not transactional selling.
