Spiko is a treasury management infrastructure company founded in 2023, backed by Index Ventures and advisors including the CEO of Revolut and founder of Kyriba. The company provides institutional-grade cash management solutions to SMEs, nonprofits, financial advisers, and fintechs across Europe via app and API, processing hundreds of millions in monthly flows.
You will own the full go-to-market strategy and sales lifecycle for Spiko's embedded finance product (Spiko API), reporting directly to the CEO. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role focused on accelerating embedded finance revenue and building strategic partnerships with fintech players across Europe—including payment institutions, credit institutions, wealth management platforms, retail brokers, and treasury management platforms.
Key responsibilities include: owning end-to-end sales execution from prospecting through account management; diving deep into product and regulatory nuances to run technically complex sales processes independently; collaborating with product and compliance teams to translate market feedback into roadmap priorities and navigate regulatory requirements; representing Spiko at top-tier fintech conferences; and, for more senior profiles, helping build and mentor the wider sales function as the business scales.
You bring proven full-cycle B2B sales experience with hands-on expertise in selling technical or API-based products, ideally with embedded finance or BaaS exposure. You have strong technical curiosity—you naturally go deep on product details, regulatory nuance, and integration complexity without needing an engineering background. You possess a strong network across the European fintech landscape (payments, investment, wealth management, credit) with access to key decision-makers. You excel at communication and negotiation, are fully proficient in English, and thrive in fast-paced, lean startup environments with an entrepreneurial mindset and ownership mentality.
Nice-to-haves include knowledge of MiFID regulatory frameworks, experience with London-based fintech hubs, and additional European languages (French, German, Dutch).
The role is based in central Paris with hybrid flexibility: up to 2 days remote per week and one full remote week per month. Compensation is competitive based on experience plus stock options. Benefits include 100% health insurance coverage, monthly perks budget, 50% public transport subsidy, referral bonuses, and regular team social events and offsites.
