Eon.io is transforming cloud backups into actionable assets through its Cloud Backup Posture Management (CBPM) platform, which provides instant visibility and searchability across cloud environments. The company is backed by prominent investors and is building a team to scale this innovative technology.
As an Enterprise Account Executive based in South Florida, you will own a territory and build the sales function from the ground up. Your primary focus will be developing and executing a sales strategy to drive new business, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and deal closure. You will identify new business opportunities within your region, build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise accounts, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Key responsibilities include: developing territory-based sales strategies; prospecting and qualifying leads; negotiating complex enterprise contracts; managing the entire sales pipeline; collaborating with the broader sales team to identify opportunities; providing regular feedback on sales performance and market trends to senior leadership; and ensuring successful product delivery aligned with client needs.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 4 years in enterprise sales, ideally in Enterprise SaaS or backup/infrastructure software. You should have a proven track record of closing complex deals, strong prospecting and lead identification skills, and the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships with diverse stakeholders. Experience in the backup or cloud infrastructure space is valued. You are passionate about acquiring new business, exceeding targets, and thrive in fast-paced startup environments.
