DocuSign is seeking an Account Executive for its Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) segment to develop and close new business opportunities and expand the company's footprint with existing customers. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Regional Vice President of SMB, based in San Francisco, Chicago, or Seattle with a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 2 days per week in-office). You will be responsible for building and managing a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts within assigned SMB and mid-market territories. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering customized sales presentations and product demonstrations via phone and online, crafting and negotiating enterprise-level proposals and contracts, and forecasting sales activity and revenue achievements using sales tools. You will collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, and internal teams including Legal, Security, Professional Services, and Customer Support. Travel is expected at approximately 10% of the time. DocuSign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform helps companies create, commit, and manage agreements, leveraging the company's leadership in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM). The platform unleashes business-critical data trapped inside documents and connects it to business systems of record. You should have a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience, with preferred experience managing and closing software sales cycles, a demonstrated ability to exceed quotas, proficiency in Salesforce.com and Google Suite, and ideally an IT industry or software sales background. You must be a self-starter, eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity. DocuSign offers competitive compensation, variable incentive pay based on sales goals, comprehensive health benefits (including 100% employer-paid options), paid parental leave (up to six months), paid time off, retirement plans with employer contributions, and learning and development opportunities. The company is committed to building trust, ensuring equal opportunity, and fostering an inclusive workplace where every team member can succeed and be heard.
