Salary: USD 300,000 - 360,000 / annual
Cyera is hiring a senior Account Executive to drive enterprise cloud data security and AI trust solutions across the Pacific Northwest region, focusing on Fortune 500 and major accounts. This is a full-cycle sales role reporting to the VP of Sales, responsible for prospecting, qualification, solution design, and closing large, complex deals in the cloud data security and data risk management space.
You will partner with Sales Engineers to map Cyera's platform capabilities to customer pain points, engage C-suite executives (CISO, CDO, CPO, CIO) with industry insights, and build long-term strategic relationships. The role requires deep understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), data security frameworks, and compliance requirements, with ability to articulate tangible business value and ROI.
Key responsibilities include territory planning and pipeline generation, delivering custom presentations and proof-of-value engagements, negotiating enterprise contracts, and collaborating cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment and successful outcomes. You will also represent Cyera at industry events, conferences, and through channel/alliance partnerships.
This position requires 8+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience in cloud, security, or data domains, with a proven track record closing large deals in hyper-growth startups. You must be proficient in value-based solution selling, formal sales processes (e.g., Sandler, Challenger), and CRM/forecasting tools. A background in cloud security, data security, or AI sales is strongly preferred. The role is based in the Pacific Northwest with flexibility to work remotely; approximately 50% travel is expected depending on sales cycles.
