Jobber is a mobile-first SaaS platform that empowers small home service businesses (plumbers, painters, landscapers) to quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments. The company has been recognized by Great Place to Work and named to Deloitte Canada's Technology Fast 50 and Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies lists. As an Account Executive, Outbound, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing for small business customers. You'll drive new opportunities through phone, email, and SMS outreach, leveraging consultative selling to help prospects understand Jobber's value. Your responsibilities include building rapport and trust with customers, acting as a product expert, demonstrating value through conversation and product demos, and tracking information in Salesforce. You'll report to the Manager of Sales and work within a collaborative, high-energy sales team focused on personal and professional growth. The role involves significant phone time and requires strong communication and active listening skills. You'll need to be data-driven, coachable, and adaptable in a dynamic environment with a short sales cycle. Success requires demonstrated sales experience with commission/targets, the ability to drive urgency and excitement, tenacity and discipline to handle rejection, problem-solving skills, and comfort with technology and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). The role is based in one of Jobber's hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo, with an expectation of in-person collaboration. Compensation includes a base salary of $60,000 plus uncapped monthly commission (OTE $100,000), equity rewards, annual health and wellness stipends, retirement savings matching, and extended health coverage. Clear growth opportunities exist to deepen expertise, explore new roles, or move into leadership.
